is it ok to say " どう　ですあ？". Then, how about the example that you guys gave above? The one like, "最近、どう　ですか？　"

Well, you said, when "how do you do" is in japanese, it isn't suppose to be like "どう　ですか？”, instead, use " お　元気　でえすか？”　So, what about that example you give? " 最近　どう　ですか？”. Is it ok to use it?
