Where oh Where do I go
Well I just finished the Hiragana section in the beginner area, but im having trouble on where to go next for learning. Its been pretty much my dream to read, write, and speak Japanese so I can one day visit Japan itself. Which brings me to my one real big question, If I were in Japan from America, what kind of Japanese would I need to learn? I mean, what is the main, universal type of Japanese you always see in anime/manga and other Japanese media? I hear its a mix of Hiragana and Kanji but im still in the dark. Like I said before, I've finished and I am studying the Hiragana section.
