If you're staying long enough to make use of the services and you have to call abroad using your cell, I reccomend au.. They have the student discount and a special discount program for calling abroad.. I don't remember what it's called off the top of my head, but it made international calling a lot...

I still think I hold my chopsticks in a completely awkward way, but I blame that one on eating Chinese with my mother since I was 7 or so with no one to correct me! Either way, it still tastes good going down (as Mike so eloquently pointed out to us).
