Good bye mean people

This site is such a good resource for learning Japanese. I'm sorry that people are so mean. I am a person. I'm not a computer screen. I will miss you. You won't miss me. Goodbye.

RE: Any other languages?

I am studying Thai also. But more Japanese than Thai. I have a Japanese class, and not a Thai class. Actually, I was studying Thai before I started with Japanese. Some random people at http://how-to-learn-any-language.com/e/index.html think it's a good idea to learn more than one language at a time....

RE: stratosphere girl

Okay onsen too. I think I wouldn't be too outraged seeing Japanese only in nightclubs, baths, government/military and holy sites. If I saw a Japanese only bus say, I would find that outrageous. Is it all over the place? Would the average semi-literate Japanese think the Japanese only signs are offen...

stratosphere girl

I saw this movie the other day. It's not a Japanese movie, but it's about women who go to work in nightclubs in Japan and have a difficult time. I'd say it's worth seeing. In one scene a night club owner tells the main character "Sorry, Japanese only" and doesn't allow her to enter. Are there "Japan...

Wow that sounds really annoying. My family problems aren't that bad.

I guess a new user posting helping things about Japanese and thoughtful things not about Japanese, will be you by a different name.

RE: Lemonaid Stands...

I see them every now and then. A set of circumstances that are relatively rarer these days would make it likely that you would run a lemonade stand as a kid.

I would also like to know if there is a similar activity that kids do in Japan.

Yet, oddly, the inverse is not true. My dog still humps my leg even if I don't call her breasts.

Thanks. There is no short cut? I can type the '.' key to get 。for example.

Would the other circles represent blanks in sentences as well?

I think that makes sense. A person is trying to drain a swamp, but is made busy fending off alligators and finds it difficult to focus on the original plan.

RE: Mike's Proverb

Someone on alt.quotations attributes it to the book "When you are up to your ass in alligators":

This link was too darned long so an admin changed the format.

So, are you literally putting ○○ at the start of the line? Is it punctuation?
