もう負ける気はしねぇけどな…

もう負ける気はしねぇけどな!いつでも勝負受けてやるぜ!

I know the words, but I can't make sense of this sentence at all.

負ける - lose
気 - mood, spirit
勝負 - match, contest, game
受ける - accept receive

Something about "already defeated spirit should die" apparently, no?

面白いだよ->面白いよ* or 面白いですよ (since you used a polite form in the first line); don't use だ after い adjectives.
Should I use そうか? then? I can't make questions with だ, but I don't want to be too polite either (this time).

Glad to hear that this thread has been somewhat helpful.
Let's see if I can manage to draw another one tomorrow.

And don't forget, you can always put your own works here. ;)

RE: Practising via manga

Missed the point? Aww, whatever. I guess I'm too slow anyway (especially when busy, like today).

And sorry, I didn't notice your first question hiding there behind the quote box.
So, yes. I did draw that picture.

*deep sigh*
Definately not my day. :(

What does the "Kikoru" at the bottom mean?
Ah, that.
It's actually "kyurururuuuu...", a sound effect for tummy growling.

Mainly because the gaijin is having a diarrhea for eating something a bit too exotic. :D
