RE: Age Group

In my class there was a 9/10 year old who came with her parents (who didn't take the test). I'm sure she did much better than me as well.

Do I get to claim lowest passing score at TJP?

So far I'm the lowest pass mark here for 4kyuu
78/47/136 = 261.
But I don't care, I was expecting to have failed!

The V symbol is often reversed when Japanese people are posing for photos making it a mildly insulting symbol for the English. I've told my Japanese friends this and I now have photos of half of them giving the finger instead. (For explanation, The English longbow men were very good and often killed...

And *please* don't do the kanji name thing. Please. People in Japan will tend to look at you like "oh, isn't that.... cute?" True, using a Japanese style name as your own in Japan is as stupid as Japanese people using choosing western names when they are over here.... However nothing to stop us usi...

RE: Name Translation

you could always try and put your name's meaning into kanji -

For example this would make Morgan (from the welsh name morcant) which means sea (mor) circle (cant) into 海円

which would make Morgan into something like Kaimaru
