RE: Whats ur fav anime?

hmm, well, the shortlist would be Samurai Champloo, Gunslinger Girl, Samurai 7, and Genshiken. Although I'm really enjoying Chobits, so it's close.

RE: COSPLAY RULES! Who else thinks so?

Though I've never done it myself, I'd really like to try. I like cosplay, it's fun. Reguardless of realism, or perfection, I don't see anything wrong with people dessing up as thier favourite characters to have some fun.

RE: What's Everyone do for a Living?

Unfortunately, I'm a security guard currently. Not a bad deal though. I mean, I'm at work right now. It's boring sometimes, but it allows me plenty of time to surf the web and study 日本語. I ended up here by dropping out of my BA Phil. Let that be a lesson for you all. I plan on making a break for 日本 ...

^_^

I get told I look like Jack Black surprisingly often. Silent Bob sometimes too. (though that may have to do with my aversion to speaking a lot)

I think the blue is from my moniter. The room wasn't that well lit and I took the picture with my webcam, which is located on top of my moniter.

はい、刀です。 A replica, of course, but kinda fun none the less. And that face is kinda creepy, it's why I like it. I hastily tried to make the eyes red. Heh, looking at the picture now, maybe I should have taken more time.

inamorata wrote: Defrex Sama writes あの彼女は私の薨去です - That girl is my death (demise) i mean _wow! was that from idiom book? or was it a home-work anyway.. Sama ? I feel so honoured. And it's just something people say in english. 'You'll (could be a name or different pronoun) be the death of me.' Thanks...

11. Sticking chopsticks vertically into a bowl a rice is taboo. Apparently it looks to much like incense (which is associated with funerals).

[Kotori says -I thought it was because it's a traditional offering to the dead to leave a bowl of rice with chopsticks standing up in the middle of it?]

might be some day

I was wondering about how to write things in a potential future way. For example, あの彼女は私の薨去です - That girl is my death (demise) So, how would I say: 'that girl will be the death of me'. I would think it would be the same only there must be some kind of future potential way of saying です. I thought abo...

RE: Basic Grammar Questions:

I'll leave it some someone smarter to tell you the differance between が and は. As for adjectives, you can just throw an い-adjective right in front of a noun without な. I've found, oddly enough, romaji is the best way to decifer the verbs. If a verb (in romaji) ends in eru or iru it conjigates to pol...
