RE: MEXT scholarship student

I'm not totally sure about all of it, but the Japanese government does have a health insurance plan, however it's somewhat expensive and doesn't cover births, dental work, checkups, perscriptions, or anything viably useful for health insurance. :) It's good for accidents and injuries only, in other ...

RE: Henoko - Okinawa... disaster going to happen?

The Middle East has oil, and ...

I've heard that women covering up thier mouth was to hide thier teeth while they laugh, supposidly from som relegious reason that showing exposed bones were unclean. I personally think the reason nowadays is hogwash, and do it because it's inherent in thie behavior (saw thier moms or friends doing i...

Yea, I banned him for cursing/censor bypassing (the forum does pick up those words and replaces them with !@#$%^&*'s and what not). I had the idea that it would be better to be harsh to the violaters up front, and that weeds out the people who enjoy skirting the rules. I'll try to be less harsh from...

I guess it's because everyone's afraid of the 一級 test. :P Good luck on it, by the way.

I'm pretty sure 日 refers to the concept of "day" or "daytime" while 太陽 refers to the sun itself.
