Study Japanese!

I always get confused on what particle I should use in which sentence with what tense. It's a reminder to myself, so would it be alright to use the command form?

Nihongo o/ga benkyou suru.
Nihongo o/ga benkyou shiro.

Which one would be correct, if any?

Welcome to the site! Don't skimp out on grammar. I've learned that it is easy to try and work on vocabulary, grammar, and kana/kanji all at the same time. It might just be me, though.

RE: Why You Want To Learn Japanese

I love the culture of Japan. That, and I want to eventually live there. I have no idea when, but that's my dream. I've loved the language itself for a long time, too. Always fascinated me.

Ongakuka wrote: "I there pretty pictures" (In the sense of "I kick footballs") 1. replace o/wo with ga. You are not doing something to the picture; it exists. 2. Kirei is a "na" adjective. Unless it precedes desu, a "na" must follow the kirei. Thanks a bunch ^_^ That cleared some stuff up for me.

Kirei e o arimasu. Would that be translated as I have a preey picture/drawing, or am I totally off?

Would kirei even be used in this sentence or is it only used when referring to a person? Like Ano hito wa kirei desu. ((bad example, sorry..))

Am I making sense?
