Ikaga, genki & okage sama de.

I was listening to this audio tape, and they told me a new way of asking about someone's well being. 'Ikaga desu ka?' And then there's 'ogenki desu ka?' I've never really heard 'ikaga' before, what's the diff. between genki and ikaga? After replying to the 'how are you question' They pull 'okage sam...

RE: Do Japanese people get excited when you speak their lang

Getting a Japanese girlfriend is actually quite easy if youre white; I've always been surprised at how the ugliest white people seem to be able to get the hottest (though usually somewhat trashy) Japanese women. If you go to certain clubs that foreigners are known to go to, the Japanese women there...

Do Japanese people get excited when you speak their language

It's just a curious thought, and here are some other things...how many japanese friends do you have? Are any of them nutty old men who scream 'SAKE!'? Do you get the cold shoulder? What about the ladies, do they get excited when you know the language. Do Japanese gangsters wanna jack your wallet? Gi...

RE: Geisha discussion subjects?

Geisha, PROSTITUTES?! I mean, c'mon...They ARE entertainers, and they would: dance, pour tea, play their instrument, and use the art of conversation. Most Geisha's main goals were to buy their freedom. And of course, when desired by a man for their virginity, their body would go to the highest bidde...

RE: Relationships

Thank you for sharing. I'm very glad in my heart to say, that I decided to spend time with my girlfriend. My feelings for her were realized again. I'll remember to take a step back and look at the big picture.

Relationships

Ever been to the point, when you lost feeling for your significant other? I still like my girlfriend, but I can't say the word 'I love you' anymore. We haven't been able to see eachother often. It's barely once a week if I do see her. I'm going to perservere though, even if she just feels like a fri...

huzzah for 'maple gunman' Music video's weird...but the guitar from B-O-U san kicks butt. The vocalist can be a little annoying, but when he does the finger pointing in the music video it makes me laff. :D

What's your opinion? Lemme know!

I have something here. Is it more affective if I replace the 'she's to 'you's? When she speaks, there's a soothing innocence. When she sings, I hear a ringing harp. She resonates amidst the ocean of dandelions. She's the sunflower in the garden. Her delicate words brimming with hope. The shine of he...

RE: Washing up b4 bath?

Another instance that has come to mind. Japanese people, they clean themselves before going into a tub don't they?
