My friend wants to translate this into Romaji, and doesn't know what the Kanji means, so I was wondering if someone could help with translating? I'm not all that good with Kanji yet so I came here knowing you guys knew it a whole lot better ;) also.. she's asking for the meanings of these: 終,青,鳥,赤,糸...

think of it this way, if you wrote everything in Hirigana or Katakana, it would be like writing out numerals in word form (i.e one million three hundred fourty one five hundred ninety nine instead of 1,341,599) So basically Kanji helps shorten sentances etc., and also helps with meanins and such. ho...

I feel really stupid xD I used to know how to say something to the effect of "Feel better soon" "get well soon" etc. but It has toatally slipped my mind, and my friend is sick. She loves Japanese and is learning it, she'd really enjoy hearing me say something like this to her, so, could someone help...

for a number of reasons
a: for a good azn friend of mine
b: because I am fascinated by the language
c: for a challenge
d: >_> so I can watch anime without subtitles..and read manga not in english..xD

there are probably more...but I'd say those cover some of the main reasons ;)

"まい" and "まえ" would be pronounced the same, or at least thats how I would pronounce those ...fragmented words.. :/ (they might be full words..but I'm not sure.. :x probably not?)

I was born/raised in California, USA. Its o-k here... but the government/polotics etc. bother me =="

one question for you would be...why don't you double space after .'s and ,'s? It's sort of annoying..and makes your posts harder to read. But that might just be me, I don't know. =/

the first username I used consistantly on any forum, or other site was "shadow" but that became too common, so I eventually changed it to りゆう えいり, I still use that on some places, but shortened it to りゆい, (also short for りゆいち , from Gravitatioin ) :P I don't plan on changing it...lol it gets too con...
