RE: Need a little help.

Hmm I'm still not sure, what exactly is the INSTRUMENT? Never heard anyone mention it like that before. Sorry for my ignorance I'm just still baffled over how to use DE and NI, it seems so similar? If i had examples of both and how they are seperately then maybe i might understand?

RE: Need a little help.

Actually, hold that, i think i do understand. Ni is used to show where someone or something is present? So that is why kuruma is marked with Ni? An De is used to show where the action takes place? Like for example "Rondon De, hito ga takusann iru". That is right. But to say i am in London it would b...

RE: Need a little help.

Hmm, I'm still always quite conufsed on how to use NI and DE, Can someone give me in indepth description with examples, because in my grammar book all it says is " Note that when the place is where something exits, not where there is an action, it is marked with Ni". I'm not to sure how that applies...

RE: Need a little help.

ah yeah thats what i thought. Thanks! How come they use "ni" so many times in the sentence to mark all who are involved and dont use say ga or another? Like "de" for kuruma?

Or i placed the child and the dog in the car first? I'm really not to sure with the "seru" on the end, i mean i know its a verb ending but why is it o...

Question about staying in Japan next summer

Next summer I am staying in Japan for a month, I've decided now and been saving the last two months. However, I have seen that it is fine to fly over to japan under the age of 18 if you are over 16, which is fine, as I will be 17, BUT, all of the hotel reservations say over 18. Now I have read of pe...
