RE: A thank you to Mr. Cash and everyone

Mike Cash is as old salt as I've ever seen, if you ask for advice you get a good answer. If he takes the time to write a long response for you I don't see any reason to get greedy and ask for smilies too. A boot in the ass is just what some people need, maybe one day you'll even start to appreciate ...

RE: American Manga... does it exist??

No one has heard of megatokyo? Their books are making their debut in Japan soon. I don't know what else to tell you about korean manwha except that tokyopop has licensed many of their series and brought it to the US. The art style is not much different than japanese manga, but it is korean if you ca...

RE: How do you learn Japanese? What's your tips?

I learn it with a textbook and lots of practice.

How do you pretend you don't know any languages? I dont think you mean you sit in a crib and listen to your parents speak japanese to you during everyday life.

... do you?

RE: Fingerprinting upon entry?

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20071026/ap_on_re_as/japan_fingerprinting_foreigners It isn't for immigrants, it is for all foreigners entering japan, primarily tourists and non-citizens. It is supposedly for preventing terrorists from entering the country. The gripe the critics have of this plan is per...

RE: Anyone Likes Elfen Lied?

Elfen Lied was great, it is very bloody but the story was awesome.
I can't imagine why the people you ask havent heard of it, it was from 2004, fairly recent.

if your mother makes dresses all she needs are the plans from a sewing book. And perhaps a pattern book and materials. You could probably find one on amazon or something.

RE: Good Stuff

I think I should add Monster to this list, a great suspense thriller. I haven't seen anything close to this. Gunparade March is also a character driven storyline like gunslinger girl with mecha. Noein is also very good anime with some unconventional themes. I did enjoy lucky star, except for the epi...
