RE: じゅう + ぐらい

I suppose there isn't anything odd, rather that I personally found it to be different from my expectations. I'll learn to not assume things in the future.

Thanks again!

RE: translation help? =D

Really. I'm not sure what type of contextual information to give.. I thought this was enough. Sorry then, I guess that's fine. Sorry again, just ignore this thread then. ^^

RE: じゅう + ぐらい

I see.. so only single units hm. That seems pretty odd, but thanks. I wonder if you could say something like "the whole 6 hours" then...

Well, on the test it was basically like this:

一日_しごとをして、つかれました。
1 じゅう 2 ぐらい 3 something 4 something

so I guess じゅう is better with the つかれました.

じゅう + ぐらい

So there was this sentence like this: 一日中働きました。 which would be, I worked for an entire day right.. so is じゅう entire then? I asked my Japanese friend this and that's what she said.. then I asked her if you could use じゅう after other stuff.. and she said like "一時間中____" like.. for an entire hour. But t...

Capitalization. It's the latest thing. All the cool kids are doing it.

Tony
Do I have to capitalize and use correct grammar for you to read what I say?

i guess you wouldn't read this part then, so i can say w/e i want in it.

RE: Teen japan fans

hmm. maybe those "teen japan fans" are annoying (personally i don't like anime/manga that much.. i'm too lazy to watch it), but i think those people who learn a little japanese/hiragana/katakana and then rant about those "teen japan fans" are worse. (nope, i'm not talking about anybody in particular...

RE: Height?

i think most girls would prefer a heavier guy.. i don't know a single guy my age (16) who's lighter than i am. even the thinnest guy i know (he looks pretty thin too, but has ok muscle) is like 120. lighter than that would be kinda unnatural. i don't think you need to be insecure about being 145. th...

RE: Handwriting

well, i just have some suggestions/comments about your handwriting... like the person above me said, you seem to be using "brush examples" a lot? you don't really need to make the hooks that prominent (like in the top thing of ら or the は and ほ) because most people just seem to omit them anyways when...

RE: Height?

i would definitely feel weird if they were shorter than me.. but only because i'm like 5'1" >_< slightly shorter seems ok as long as you don't really have to look down right? and taller is fine even like 7-8" taller (like most of my guy friends..) i don't really notice.
