Re: Learn Japanese with Anki

Hey, I tried to install Anki in Ubuntu, and I get "Error: Dependence is not satisfiable: python-sqlalchemy." I searched in the package manager and installed python-sqlalchemy and restarted, but I still get the error. How do I fix that?

RE: Learn Japanese with Anki

Is there a way to use subscript and superscript? I can paste it in, but it changes back to regular. If not, that would make a cool update for me. hmmm I looked in the edit deck. In some of the cards, the part in parentheses was automatically moved to the reading field, but in others it stayed in parentheses next to the expression. Is there any easy way to fix this?

RE: Learn Japanese with Anki

uhoh my deck is a little messed up now after updating :( Should there be a backup anywhere of my old deck? I typed them all in a text document last time, then chose to make a reverse entry. For example 荒い (あらい) : rude the reading was smaller below the kanji, but now it shows up next to it with paren...

Does "Essential Kanji" by P. G. O'Neill contain all of the j

The book contains 2000 kanji, so does anyone know if it has all 1945 joyo? oh and there aren't any other differences between toyo and joyo that will mes...

wow this seems like a great program. I just started using Train Your Brain a few days ago, but this looks a lot better. I like how it does the timing for you. Train Your Brain only has learning, retaining, and memorized, so you review all of them at once and study all of them at once. And the 'memor...

So how did your assignment go?
umm...I was kind of sick today so I didn't go.

One quick question though. Did I spell lighsaber correctly? I put ライトセーバー. maybe without the last -?

edit: I almost forgot. If the monkey's name is Saru I need to call him Saru-san correct?
