RE: Study Group: Lesson 5

"Konnichi" is used in writing and very formal speeches. 今日は was originally a part of a whole greeting such as...

Daisuke is correct. 今日は means hello.

Of course, you're not far off. 今日 means today.

Study Group Feedback

Hey guys! This is your friendly, neighborhood admin for the study group. I know I've been gone awhile but I had a real life situation to deal with. Anyway, I'm back now, so feel free to ask me any questions. I'd really hate for lona to be bombarded with so many questions. Now, getting down to busine...

RE: Anyone want to help add kanji to the database?

Ah, it would be great experience for me because I'm finishing up an ASP and ColdFusion class at school. But I don't know that many kanji. Sorry!

Computer Languages

I've been learning ColdFusion and I must say - it totally rocks. I love it a lot more than ASP or JavaScript. But on to my question - I was in class and we learning how to use Adobe Illustrator. And I saw Kana and Kanji on the fonts lists and my teacher told me they were for the Japanese version. An...

RE: Why You Want To Learn Japanese

I have no idea why I want to learn Japanese. I think it was originally because I wanted to help this Japanese guy leave a cult. (Long story) But I decided there was no hope for him because he's a male Libra. (Another long story). After that, there was really no reason for me to keep learning Japanes...
