Re: Online Japanese resources

www.readthekanji.com is extremely addictive and effective if you wish to learn the 'reading' part of Kanji. Believe me, it's awesome.

Only problem is, the webapp is having some difficulties... Well, only for some European countries, it seems.

I need help with Readthekanji.com !

Is anybody having issues getting onto www.readthekanji.com ? I've contacted the webmaster, and we both tried to find several solutions, yet there's no end to this problem. Basically, European users had problems getting onto the page, but it seems Dutch and German users are having the hardest time. T...

I could use a little feedback on TOKYO FM

Is anybody familiar with the internet version of TOKYO FM? If so, is anybody able to listen to it? Link: http://www.tfm.co.jp/radiobar/ Basically, what the issue is, is that the link provided called 'LISTEN ! for Windows Media Player' , doesn't seem to work for me, either with Wmp, winamp or media p...

Re: Not sure if I got this right...

I'm not sure about the form "ことにしたの," but from that context I don't think she's asking you if it's different to go to a university. It seems more conversational. The way I translate the rest is: Is it difficult to get into that university? Even if you get in, there's no definite guarantee that you'...

Not sure if I got this right...

I'm having a very hard time understanding the following sentences, though I think I almost understand it, there's that tiny bit I can't grasp... Basically, I told a female e-pen pal that I plan to enter a university which educates someone in Japanology. I try to figure out what she is saying in resp...

Free online furigana literature?

Hi,

I've been wondering if there's any Japanese/English websites that provide free literature, using furigana?
Or, if there's a program to instantly evoke furigana from kanji in a bunch of Japanese web literature.

Just to prepare for my future university studies...

Cheers,

Kenitai
