Re: Horror Novels

Have you read the classics? Poe, and the like? They give you a good chill now and then.

Re: where to put もう and まだ

もう in this context will always be used before the verb. However in some cases the もう comes before the verb, as in:
チンさんはもう帰りました。
Chin-san has already returned.

Here is my opinion about this topic: I believe that I read somewhere, that Japanese people admire how American's eyes are wider. So, anime characters' eyes are wider. I can't pinpoint that as a fact, just something that heard/thought of. If you notice with Japanese singers, a lot of them get their ...

I've just listened to アルミナ thus far, but they're pretty good. However, they do sound a lil non-rock in アルミナ. Or maybe it was just me.

I love Orange Range! Asterisk is of course my favorite song. I love how they mix semi-poetical lyrics with a grrrreat music score. OR が大好きです!

Re: A Question on the mind-numbing Te-Form

Well, I have an advantage over you in that regard. Actually, Japanese has marked similarities with Hindi (grammatically). So, in response to Kodama-san's question: 持って行く and 来る have marked similarities to Hindi expressions that say the same thing, "lekar jana" and "lekar aana". The best translation ...

Re: でんぶんの そうです and ようたいの そうです

Well, bamboo4 san is closer to the truth in his first post. I wanted to know the various conjugations with nouns/verbs/adjectives. Like, How does ようたい behave with な adjectives, nouns and so on.

でんぶんの そうです and ようたいの そうです

OK, one means hearsay, while the other is visual evidence. But, um, how are they used? What forms do they take with nouns/adjectives/verbs? How do we differentiate between them? Lots of questions, but I hope someone can help me out.

That's just Japanese traditional music. It's long, with really complicated voice modulation. Examples: Hajime Chitose, Kataritsugu Koto.

Re: Japanese rock.

L'Arc~en~Ciel and the Gazette are pretty good too. Besides which, you have Abingdon Boys School, Asian Kung-Fu Generation and Nightmare. Not to mention solo rockers like YUI.
