Wikipediaのヒトラーゲーム。

I saw this game on another forum. I hope it's allowed. I think it may help reading comprehension. "The way it works, is you post a Wikipedia article, and the next person, by using links to other Wikipedia articles, has to get to the page for Adolf Hitler in 6 articles or less" Since this may be much...

Can I convert Booker into Kanji as 武火?

With the readings of 武火

武: Bu - Warrior
火: Ka - Fire

would that be an acceptable conversion into Kanji?

Re: Eirin.

No... a substring of the title is enough, but it does seem like it only searches back to 2010. Odd. I also would've thought ratings would be in wikipedia entries, but the couple of films I checked don't seem to show them. Seems like nobody pays attention to Japanese ratings. Huh? If you search by r...

Re: Eirin.

Thank you, the second link was just what I was looking for! Quick question, how do look up the eirin exactly?

It keeps saying that the works I'm looking for aren't in the database.

Page Activity

It appears to me that this site isn't nearly as active or popular as it used to be. I remember (or at least I think I do) when it used to get tons of posts per day in various sub-forums, now it seems it is lucky to get more than 5 a week. I propose the following question, why? Are people now less in...

持ち上げて。解き放して。

So on an (American) album there is a song that contains the lyrics 「持ち上げて。解き放して。」 I have not studied Japanese in awhile but if I'm understanding this correctly it says "Lift up" "Let go". There is another song on the album that says "Lift me Up, Let me Go" And I'm wondering if this Japanese text mea...

Free Offline Quiz Software

Does anyone know of any offline quiz software that deals with Japanese grammar?

I'm looking for something that isn't exaclty in a game-type setting but more as an interactive work-sheet.

Thank you for reading/replying. :)

Hello, Old Friends.

Hello, TJP! I know I haven't posted here very often but I think I've decided to try to. Truth be told, I haven't studied 日本語 in a long while. I know what a couple of you TJP veterans are thinking, -Kid tries to learn Japanese because he/she likes アニメとマンガ, time goes by, they ask a few questions, and ...
