Thanks, I just wondered why you changed ""イギリス人です、高校生です。"" to ""イギリスの高校生です". That bit confused me.

In Windows XP its really easy, you just have to turn on the IME, and that lets you type kanji too. You just go the the control panel, and then regional and language options.
