I got a problem with this one: "Akai fuusen no hoshii kodomo ga ooi" The explanation says it means following: "There are many kids who want a red balloon." I don't understand the construction of the scentence. Especially "hoshii kodomo" what is this supposed to mean? I thought the balloons are wante...

Well, I just listened to Otsuka Ai's song "Smily"

But there's one line I don't get:

"Kimi to ashita aitai"

- aitai= I wanna meet

so far so good. But the translation says it means: "I want to meet you again"
Why isn't it:

"Kimi o mata aitai" (By the way: must there be a particle behind "mata"?)
