ill go with subs, for most of the reasons stated above, better voice acting, anime in the states being marketed to kids, yadda yadda.

i also like to see how they would refer to certian things in japanese i.e. in vampire hunter D, they constantly refer to vampires as aristocrats.

its expensive but the rosetta stone software is pretty good. They have reading, listening and writing skills practices on it. along with the native speakers. i havent gotten that far in it yet, but they also have conversation practice on it. so i dont know how good that portion is. thanks guys, i guess thinking that arimasu had to be used after a -te form verb. i guess japanese isnt as rigid as im making it.

Doko, Koko, and arimasu

im just wondering what these mean, Doko, Koko, and arimasu. in my grammer book, ive seen arimasu before but it was used after a -te form verb.


here is an example

白い 車はどこにありますか.ここにあります .

i pulled that out of a book i have. thanks for the help

Is there any way to make it bigger, most of the time its so jumbled i cant even make out that it is kanji. looks more like a blob of pixels.

Ive been using that rosetta stone software, the only complaint i have about that is they really dont explain word usage or why etc. but, it has helped my pronunciation and word recognition. its is expensive, but the only reason i can use it is the military offers them for free.
