Re: Jdrama

Haha, yeah, you can say that I'm a big fan of Tsumabuki Satoshi. He brings a lot to the screen and is always fun to watch. I guess since I saw "Waterboys"(movie), I've been a fan--he's pretty funny and is really good at the "forced smile" haha. It helps that he's really popular in Japan and has star...

Re: Jdrama

JaySee, I would definitely recommend that you try out CHANGE, I saw it recently and it is an incredibly interesting and uplifting political drama that stars Kimura Takuya, a prolific JDrama actor. Actually, pretty much any of Kimura Takuya's dramas are a safe bet, though many veer towards the romant...

Re: Jdrama

I've seen Dororo, it was really enjoyable! Both of them work so well together. The CG was mostly crappy, but the action wasn't bad at all. Definitely can't wait for the sequal(s). It's so nice to watch a movie/drama where the actors are just so fun to watch.

Re: Jdrama

I did watch "Aishiteiru to Ittekure" and yeah, they are very similar. Just the deaf person roles are switched, guy <--> girl, and the environment is different. They were actually both written by the same screenwriter, Eriko Kitagawa, so "Orange Days" has a lot of similarity to "Aishiteiru to Ittekur...

Re: What's your favorite Japanese 'Love Story' movie?

Definitely Ima, Ai ni Yukimasu. I also just watched Sugar & Spice, starring Sawajiri Erika and Yagira Yuya. Despite some mixed feelings in terms of reviews, I liked it. Well, of course, Sawajiri Erika is incredibly cute and acts very well to boot. Yagira Yuya is good too. It's both a happy and sad r...

Re: Jdrama

Wow, nobody has mentioned Orange Days , one of the most well-casted, well-written, and overall well-done Japanese Dramas. Takes place at a University, shows the developing chemistry between a male student(Tsumabuki Satoshi) and a deaf female student(Shibasaki Kou). And man, is there chemistry(they e...

Check out Daddicts, this page: http://www.d-addicts.com/forum/subtitles.php.

Many more English subtitles than Japanese, but they are there. Just scroll down past the English subs.

Re: Rap

Can check out Micro - Here
I'm not a big rap fan, but I like a lot of his stuff.

Also can check this out. Incredibly popular song recently, this collaboration; Soulja + Aoyama Thelma. Soulja's rap tends to be very slow and mellow.

Re: Anyone know what movie this Pv is promoting?

Figured I'd make an account to answer this question.

I Remember You: "Taiyou no Uta" (the movie). The background scenes of the PV are from "Taiyou no Uta," starring Yui.

Love & Truth: Theme song for "Closed Note", starring Sawajiri Erika and Takeuchi Yuko.

Hope this answers the question.
