I would like to add my "sincere thank you" for all that this site provides.

I have only been here for a couple of weeks, yet I have learned so much.
I am attempting to teach myself Japanese with the aid of a couple of books, a CD and this site.
I appreciate the time and thoughtfulness of the members who answer questions as well as offer their opinion on various books and learning aids.
As a beginner I could go to a store and have no idea if a book was helpful or not.
The store is an added bonus, because I can speak to a person who knows the books and can advise me.

Members have provided numerous links to grammar sites that are wonderful.

I hope some day I can become proficient enough to help a beginner navigate the journey of learning Japanese
