Why does the Kanji Benkyou sometimes only list the pronunciation in Katakana, and other times it has both? Different meanings?

Also, what kind of tags does this forum allow? BBcode and/or HTML?

the ones in Katakana are the On yumi readings, and of course Kun yumi is in hiragana, when there is only Katakana, there is only On yumi for that kanji...that's all...(take note that the kanji benkyou do not always give every single reading in Kun or On, read the comments below each kanji for more info) =p

BBcode. at least that's what i think they're called. [ b ] bold [ / b ] and the like.
