Browser Title Line

Post by paul_b » Wed 07.26.2006 1:24 am

I think it would be a hugely VAST aid to navigation if the browser title line was changed when using the forums. For example right now my browser should say

Editing Post - TheJapanesePage.com - Learn Japanese for (etc.)

and before that it would be

Problems, Errors, Comments Forum - TheJapanesePage.com - Learn Japanese for (etc.)

That way when you want to go 'back' or 'forward' you'll see a list that makes sense instead of

TheJapanesePage.com - Learn Japanese for FREE [...]
TheJapanesePage.com - Learn Japanese for FREE [...]
TheJapanesePage.com - Learn Japanese for FREE [...]
TheJapanesePage.com - Learn Japanese for FREE [...]
TheJapanesePage.com - Learn Japanese for FREE [...]

yet another thing that would take a lot of hacking PHP-Fusion to accomplish. the title is set and sent from the earliest include file. there's no easy way to make it reflect the actual page without rewriting every php script on the site. :(
