Question regarding the kanji study center
What is the whole thing about the kun readings and on readings, what does that mean exactly, can someone explain to me how that is all set up, keep in mind im a beginning learner

I don't have much time, so I'm make this quick:
ON yomi = "Chinese" reading
KUN yomi= "Japanese" reading
The on yomi is usually used in combos.
日本
Nihon/Nippon
Versus
Himoto

Also, you can click on the small ? (question mark) next to the kun and on readings (or any other section) in the kanji study center and it will give you a full explanation of the features.
