Smileys have been changed.

if you're accustomed to typing in your smileys directly instead of using the little icons at the bottom of the edit post page... and even if you do use the icons... a change has been made to how they work because the old way kept breaking things in random places.

now, smileys must have a 'space' in front of them in order to work.

example:

xxx:) <- no space, no smiley.
xxx <- space, smiley. that's a xxx<space>:)

What about a "new line" before? (I'm guessing doesn't work)

By the way, why doesn't the pirate show up in the smiley list when writing a new reply? I wonder if there are more "hidden" smileys. An embarrassed smiley would be cool.
