Is there any way to search by username?

Actually search doesn't seem to work at all. I just searched forum topics for 'japan' and got zero results.

I'd like search for posts that I posted in, because I know I posted something, but I can't remember which forum it was, and I'll never find it.

hover your mouse over your username, look at the link that is displayed in the status bar and you should discover that your your UserID is 16545. or if that doesn't work on your browser, hover over your username and 'Copy Link Location' and paste it somewhere, you should be able to find something like this:

http://www.thejapanesepage.com/profile.php?lookup=16545

that's your UserID at the end.

go to the search page, put your UserID in the box, and select the "By UserId" option and click search.

or, if you're brave, you can craft the search URL by hand: http://www.thejapanesepage.com/search.php?stype=u&stext=16545

there probably needs to be some help somewhere on the search page.... and i could have sworn that i fixed it so that you could type in a username instead of a userid...
