Is this a really obscure place name? Even with a map I can't find any salt lakes between Europe and Asia that begin with り.

Perhaps it's not a salt lake, but I thought it was.

I guess you learn something new everyday. I'd only ever heard it called カスピ海 but wikipedia says it's also called 裏海.
