skype partner
Hello ^_^
I'm 20 years old and I live in New Jersey. I've been a member here for quite a while and I was wondering if there is anyone here willing to practice Japanese with me through skype. I would consider myself a beginner and I would probably be a like a second level beginner [if there is such a thing lol] if only I had practice. I know all of my hiragana and katakana and I plan on tackling the kanji as soon as finals are over. I would prefer someone who knows more than I do so that they can help me with pronunciation and help me correct my mistakes.
Thanks a bunch! Hope to hear from you soon!

Re: skype partner
Does Skype always have to be voice chat? I am never n a area where I can chat. But my writing is much better than my talking and I don't live in Japan so it isn't my priority. I am between 3JLPT and 2JLPT levels. If you are willing to just type then I would be willing.

Re: skype partner
I think the threadstarted wanted voice chats, since in my experience I only used it as a voice chat application. Otherwise we could aswel use MSN, ICQ, AIM etc... My guess anyway

I normally wouldn't nitpick a non-native speakers English unless requested to, but your English is otherwise excellent so please don't feel offended. I've seen you use this word "aswel" in several different threads, and it's not correct English. It should be "as well" . Again, sorry for the nitpick, but it caught my eye a few times.
