Writing a letter to my new teacher

Hey all. I took a placement test and successfully scored into the second year class, which I was pleased to have happen. The instructor sent me a confirmation today about it. I wanted to write him an e-mail in Japanese for a simple thank you. It isn't extensive, but I wanted to ensure accuracy.

こんにちは、はら先生。 (I don't know if he uses a special Kanji for his name. I plan to ask him, so I'm leaving this)
ジョルダンです。

入会は２１４０に面倒がありませんでした。クラスを楽しみにします。

　Strictly speaking, you shouldn't write 敬具 here. I personally think it's ok, though.
If you want to make it accurate according to the proper gramatical rules, you could just get rid of it.
