How many languages can you speak?

I´m brazilian, my parents are italian, so I can speak both languages as well.
Spanish is so similar to portuguese that sometimes I read a piece of news and forget in which language it was written.
English, since the school, but I still have some difficulty to express myself. Almost no problem in understanding.
Learning japanese since 2002, currently working as translator.
Less than 2 years learning chinese, but since I love kanji, the learning has been very easy and fast paced.

I can speak English and Dutch, my native language is Dutch.

I have French at school, I don't really like it but I had to choose between German and French.
Je parle une peu français. (I hope that's spelled correct)

I can understand German, but I can't speak it.

Currently I'm learning Japanese by my self, because I like the language.

I can speak a little Spanish and American Sign Language, but that's because my sister is almost constantly speaking in them. I'm trying to learn Japanese. So far I'm not ever successful. ( )
