A short story about a cow.

I decided that a short story would be a great way to practice Japanese, but the only idea I could get out of my friends was a stupid idea about a cow that wanted to be a dog. I love stupid ideas, so I'm going with it. So I'm making this thread as a place to store my ideas and drafts, as well as fish for ideas on a story line and maybe even get some corrections on my many mistakes. Once I get enough content I might put together a web page and make some illustrations (my stories are always so short and childish that they require illustrations).

「牛が犬になりたがっている」という話：

あの日、子牛はきれいな牧草（ぼくそう）で生まれました。この子牛は鉦（かね）の金色みたいだったから、「鉦」と言いました。鉦はほかの牛みたいでした。草を食べたり、「モーモー」と言ったり、牧草で歩いたりしました。でも、あの日、鉦は初めて犬を見ました。「母さん、あそこで何ですか」と聞きました。鉦のお母さんは「犬だ、注意して」と答えました。鉦は奇妙(きみょう）だったが、遠くいました。
