How to say "Dating" in Japanese?
Mina San,
I watched a lot of Japanese drama VCDs. When they come across to dating, they seldom use "deto". I couldn't really hear what they said, it seems to be "tsuke..." something like this.
Any ideas?
How to say "dating with someone" without using "deto"? What is the most common way of saying this by native Japanese?
PS: I can't read Kanji, just Romaji please. Thank you in advance.

not to sure, but try poets.notredame.ac.jp/cgi-gin/jedi, that is an excellent dictionary lookup tool. The only problem is that there is such a vast majority of word that you'll have to search through the ones they give you.

The most common word for date is de-to デート. You may also have heard 付き合う tsuki au.
An old word is 逢引き aibiki, but unless you are a samurai living in the 17th century I would stick with デート
