The first half of the day is AM. Just practicing the kanji combos I am learning.
An easier way to remember の... if you are thinking of using of, think about if it can be used possesively. Alt translation of above The day's first half is AM.
It's probably too simplistic to really tear apart, but have at it if you see something.
