I really don't know much about any Japanese words, greetings, etc. Anyone willing to help me?

Hey Heart Caliber welcome to TJP, at one point no one knew anything when they first started.. What you need to do is learn kana before anything.. Kana = hiragana and katakana, go to downloads, click hiragana + katakana the last download is the learn kana program. I recommend that to learn your kana.

after your done kana start with grammar.

I highly suggest getting a textbook. You might start with Colloquial Japanese as it is a nice cheap book, and if you can't get through it, then at least you didn't waste much money.
