Not bad. I've seen Japanese kids with worse pensmanship. ;)

Just keep practising. Writing is good exercise for both the memory and the muscles.

they look ok but one thing i dont see(could be because its a bit small) but some of the like 水 have a line on the lines that go straight down. if you up the size on 水 youll see the line that im talking about.

Hey this is a cool idea. With the O.P's consent, would it be alright if we made this a thread where anyone may submit their Japanese handwriting, or should I make a new one?

I'm moving this to Practice Japanese, not much grammar in handwriting analysis.

I've seen adult Japanese people with horrible penmanship. Example, my father, I guess because he didn't write a single kanji for at least 5 years.

A couple of things I see - the kanji between 母 and 女, which is probably supposed to be 方 seems to have an extra stroke, crossing stroke 4 (the stroke with the angle in it), and may have the first (short vertical on top) and third (slanting stroke from horizontal down and to the left) strokes combines. Also, 水 seems to have strokes 3 and 4 combined (the two strokes to the right of the vertical.) You might want to consult a site giving stroke order.

Randomperson was referring to the little 'hooks' on the end of verticle strokes in a number of kanji, which you have left out:

You wrote the two little dashes on 金 upside down.

Richvh: That's actually 友.

Hm, ok then stroke 4 (the cross stroke I thought was extra) has to be longer and curve the other way, then maybe it will be more recognizable.

Edit: Oh, another thing, on 何, it looks like you've combined strokes 3 (the top horizontal) and 7 (the right hand vertical).

O.o I always thought those hooks were just from when you write fast or when it be comes natural

And yea I didn't notice how bad my 何 was till I scan it up. (the scan is bigger then the paper)

Looks like a real good start. Just a comment to add to the others: take another look at 男.

It's a good start. Can't say they're very neat. Take more care when you write them. I get the general gist, which is awesome.

Maybe make a new one with a generic title.
