I found this other site.. http://www.alc.co.jp. It doesn't translate blocks of text, but it's really good for looking up 1 or 2 words at a time.

I find the translation from OCN (Amikai) to be a LITTLE better in most cases...

For people studying Japanese, I think Jim Breen's 'translation' page is best.

It's actually not a true translation page. Rather than producing some garbled translation of the text, it will instead take the words from the text and give you a vocab list. That way, you can use your own knowledge of Japanese grammar to put the pieces together yourself.

Much more practical from the standpoint of studying and practicing Japanese...
