Um, where's your sentence? The one in your sig isn't about running to the store. (And you're using a closing quote as an opening quote, and それ should be それ)

今日は店に走いました。

I think that's correct. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I don't think 今日は is right. The subject is "I" not today, but I don't know. I'm a beginner too.

Isn't the -masu form of the verb 走る (hashiru) はします? As far as the original sentence goes, I believe there can only be one 'wa' per sentence unless the following are contrastive. Therefore it should be 今日は私が店に走りました。 Though the "watashi ga" part is optional in Japanese if it's obvious that you're talking about yourself. は is topic and が is for subject, so I believe it's just a matter of focus. It could also be 私は今日店に走りました。 I believe that the に particle usually goes before the verb connecting to the place of motion, thus 店に走りました. Also, it's a complete sentence in Japanese as long as you end with a verb, so the ました has no need for a です after it. You did get all the right words in there though, and congratulations on graduating to kanji!

3-4 years ago I was that slacker, so sure. Besides, even if that's the case, there was at least an honest attempt made rather than a "Tranzlate ths PLZ" posting.

So long as they make an attempt and ask us for confirmation, I don't consider them a slacker at all.

Or even 今日、私は店に走りました
Don't complain to me that people kick you when you're down. It's your own fault for lying there

Thank you very much for your help!!!! However, those that accuse me of slacking or using this great website to breeze through a class and cheat, please don't be so quick to accuse. I have been studying japanese on and off since my late year of high school, and the only langue offered was spanish. I recently moved, so I am comletely new to the area and not yet affiliated with any japanese club. I am studying solely by myself- through books, internet, whatever i can find. This sintence is simply a sentece that i came up with when i Actually did leave for the store yesterday (my mom was in the hospital). I simply wanted to try and make a senctece of my own, and try to implement some kanji i have learned. So, I study hard and do not slack, so again THANK YOU VERY much for your help, It REALLY does help, but please don't be so quick as to start accusing me of slacking off. I am not yelling, pissed off, or in any way trying to be mean or snobby, I really do thank all of you for your time and effort, I just want to make it clear that i do not cheat and work hard and spend my time to study Japanese. Thank you!!!!!!! ^_^
