We haven't established what weapon the 侍 has yet, have we? I vote 野太刀!

Sometimes I think that I'm afraid of thinking, and that scares me.

Thanks for the correction (hides evidence it was ever made)

Huh? What does it matter, at this point, what kind of sword the 侍 has? He's on the beach, and his enemies are safely out of sword range on top of the cliff. Unless Rounin can think of a way to continue from 鞘から that makes sense in the story, I'm voting to ignore that entry. (He could be drawing a wakazashi, but if he was going to commit seppuku, why not do it earlier?)

That's about all I could come up with. If it doesn't make any sense, we can try something else. But I thought maybe it was appropriate in the context of seeing an opportunity.

OK, you're confusing me. Which one is the target, "one dose of this potion" or "Japan's best love potion"? Or is this the listing に?

You mean the target of に? It was the ほれ薬.

The sentence conclusion I expected was して下され」 or something like that. As in, "change X into Y, please." It wasn't very open-ended, nor intuitive. Sorry.

I propose changing この薬の一服 to この薬の一服 and proceding from there.

Edit: the thing that was confusing me was Too many にs, and I can't seem to make them both work in the same sentence.
