To further expound on Rich's nice breakdown, there are contexts where you can use 勉強します to mean "I study/am studying". For example, if I asked you in Japanese, "What are your hobbies?" You might say "日本語が好きなので、それを勉強します。" (I like Japanese, so I study that.) But in your post, where we haven't set-up a "habitual" context, 勉強します will generally be taken to mean "will study". But since your post was in Japanese, obviously you are already studying. So, most natural expression is the ongoing activity/current state 勉強しています.
And as Rich pointed out, 習っています is how the Japanese would express "have been studying/learning."

I personally have seen the kanji more often than not. Still, even if we assume the kana version is most common, I think it's a good idea to let those beginners know the correct kanji.

can i write it like this =>
桜さんはたこ焼が好きです、私もうたこ焼好きです。
does'もう'means 'too'?
and if i said two of us like takoyaki.
is it written like this? =>
私達たはこ焼が好きです。
and i said two of us can i write
私達二人はたこ焼が好きです。
and if i say i like takoyaki the best, is it =>
私たこ焼が一番好きです。

私もう・・・たこ焼が大好きです。
Although it sounds a little funny, it is felt to me something like "I really..... really like a Takoyaki". In this case, you can use "も" to express "too".
桜さんはたこ焼が好きです、私もたこ焼が好きです。
Other sentences of your post seem to me right except miss typewriting.
and if i said we (?) like takoyaki.
is it written like this? =
私達はたこ焼が好きです。
and i said two of us can i write
私達のうち二人はたこ焼が好きです。
(But this sentence is ambiguous. It is also used to mean "at least two of us like Takoyaki")
and i said the (?) two of us can i write
私達二人はたこ焼が好きです。
(each one of the two of us likes Takoyaki. =>
私達は二人ともたこ焼が好きです。)
and if i say i like takoyaki the best, is it =>
私 はたこ焼が一番好きです。
(In conversation, not always "は" is needed. But normally it is better to insert it.)

What would 習っています be read as? Is it a U-Verb?

ならっています; the dictionary form is 習う(ならう). Yes, it is a -U verb (a v5u in edict terminology)

Dude. We're a Japanese forum, not dictionaries.
