Japanese words and Phrases learned from Anime/Manga

Hey everyone! Almost everyone on this site has watched anime at some point and time, because it's in Japanese. I was just wondering what words people have learned from anime instead of textbooks!
I've learned many words myself, but these are the most memorable:

baka
sakura
hinata
sora
aoi
akai
hoshi
yume
ne
egao
ninja
kumo
sekai

I wouldn't say these are vocabulary learnt in anime rather than a textbook though.

Yeah, but I think he just mentioned it because one of the characters from Naruto is called Hinata

I don't really watch Naruto, and I didn't know there was a character called Hinata. I just read a lot of song lyrics and hinata comes up every once in awhile XD...

A list with baka and ninja in it must be a perfect list.. Oh wait.. There is no samurai in the list.. I'm disappointed now.. (complete and utter sarcasm...)

If I see 'yume' and 'sora' I know it's a list from someone who watches anime (or listens to J-Pop). Very surprised there's no 'kokoro' in that list..

I learned that "sasuke-kun" is something that pink-haired ninja girls scream when facing the ultimate evil. I don't know about you, but I use it every single day. ^_^

I never learned any words from anime, but I use anime to test myself. I get all giddy when I can understand an entire phrase and identify the grammatical components. But I'm a geek like that...

I usually feel the same way, but for me it's usually words at this point. It always feels nice when you can understand something. Probably the only time you see your hard work in action. Also usually after I learn something it seems to pop out everywhere and I can't help but noticing it.

Though possible, I'm somewhat in disbelief that somebody learned ninja from anime.

I've actually learned a significant amount of useful vocabulary from anime.
almost all the name titles I know
the majority of family relations
a fair deal of aisatsu
and then there's a fun level of randomly vocabulary that you get to pick up (nakama from One Piece, shinigami from Bleach, hatsudou from D.Gray-man, and so on)

うんち This from denno coil. There was a kid who pointed everything and shouted うんち
しまった No ide where I learned this.
It's all right to tell these words here isn't it?

There's a lot. Maybe it would be easier to list the words I have learned from text book. I don't like to read text books much.

なんでもない - nevermind - Shana says this fairly often in Shakugan no Shana
まあまあ - okay, not good or bad; the "now, now" expression in English - Alto says this (first meaning) and Sheryl says this (second meaning) fairly often in Macross Frontier
いっらしいませ - welcome (to our store)

いってきます / いってらしゃい - I am leaving / have a nice day
ただいま / おかえりなさい - I am back / welcome back
Usually the main character and their parents will go through those four once an episode for anything in a contemporary setting

おやすみなさい - good night (?), something you say when going to bed (or someone else is going to bed)

I think many expressions maybe.

i would hear "dammit" a lot while watching Inuyasha, at least thats what the subtitle said he was saying. i don't really quite know how I would write it out in romanji, let alone hiragana
