Which anime or manga contributed the most?

Post by Ranma » Tue 11.14.2006 4:01 pm

This is a thread about which anime or manga does everyone think contributed the most to Japan in America.
In my opinion though it was second to Astro Boy:Speed Racer contributed the most.

I think they meant the anime that had the most effect on America. Wait, Japan in America? Japan's not in America.

I personally think it was Pokemon and Dragonball. Everyone knows those. Speed Racer and Astroboy are too far back in my opinion so they didn't really effect the latest generation of anime fans. They can remember Pokemon and Dragonball but many of them can't remember the oldies.
