first u wana get in the mind of the writter!!
take shigeru miyamoto for example and his reasons for creating games such as mario, pokemon, zelda etc etc. Theres always a story behind them. manga creaters do the same thing such as relating there characters to historical, mythical or even people they know. even on random objects like a favourite car. Look for some interviews etc.

Wow, umm. I think he's a seriously messed up kid who's now trying to change himself after finding out that his destiny is what he makes of it and that it's not just pre-decided. That's just my 2 cents
