LF Osaka and Kyoto Hostel Recommendations

Hey guys I've been studying in Tokyo for the last month or so, and we have a week long break coming up this month in which my friends and I are planning on visiting Osaka for 3 days, Nara for 1, and Kyoto for 3.
I'm just curious if you guys know of any cheap, safe, and convenient hostels in Osaka and Kyoto? We're trying to get the logistics figured out as soon as possible, so any 速い help would be much appreciated!!! (^_^)

You could try Japan Youth Hostels or Hostel World websites.

Not a hostel but Riverside Takase in Kyoto is a lovely cheap ryokan
