The reason why I fell in love with Japan besides its culture and ninjas when I was little, was sushi. I've always been a fan of seafood and I prefer it raw over deep-fried. I also love miso soup and tempura.

One of the greatest things about being in Japan is the food.

Most of these have been said, but for food I love おこのみ焼、しゃぶしゃぶ、てんぷら、かつ、らーめん、寿司、even すき屋 is really good. It's genuinely difficult to find a Japanese food that isn't delicious. :P

For drinks, 梅酒、日本酒、カルピス、まちゃ、and Real Gold are my favorites.

Haha, thank you for that [s] in the title. Impossible to narrow down any more.

Red bean paste, takoyaki, mochi, green tea (and anything flavoured with it ^.^) I was obsessed with green tea flavoured foods when I visited Japan.
Actually, there wasn't really anything I did not like except for grilled oisters.
The gods envy us. They envy us because we are mortal. Because every moment could be our last. Everything is so much more beautiful because we will someday die. (From "Troja")
