JLPT question
Hi All,
This may be a silly question, but please don't shoot me down!
I am planning to go to Japan to teach English (I have an Master in Ed (TESOL), Grad Dip TESOL and BA)...Do I need to take the JLPT, do you think? Hm.
I guess I am curious to know whether Japanese universities/schools/colleges prefer this, on top of relevant qualification, of course.
Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

Re: JLPT question
Shouldn't be necessary. Most of the English teachers I know who have part-time and ongoing university gigs do not have much Japanese under their belts, let alone a JLPT qualification.
Your Masters (especially in that field) will go a long way in securing you a job in a university.
