First time to Japan in maybe a year.

Post by Rodorigesu » Tue 08.20.2013 10:52 pm

Hi, I'm an Argentinian 14 years old that just recently started learning japanese by himself(3 weeks).

I have a huge chance of going to Japan next year, FOR a year, thanks to Rotary Club, but I need help.

Do you think I'll be able to learn average-ish japanese by then?

I already know all hiragana and grasped a few concepts (use of "no", order of nouns in possesive phrases "hagane no watashi no kokoro" "My heart of steel").

I've been told, by a lot of people, that I have high intuition and analysis skills, so I think I'll manage, but I needed the opinion of experts. I don't have a book, never took a lesson and live in a very small city, so I learnt entirely by watching FullMetal Alchemist:Brotherhood with subtitles. Chances of finding a book are near zero and chances of finding a teacher are literally zero.

Thanks in advance.
