RE: Silence that tinkles
Sorry, the only time I hear tinkle is when a kid says, "I gotta go tinkle"

RE: Silence that tinkles
I have an alternative to that poem.
Silence that Deafens
By KrazyKuban (A.K.A. Kyle Kay)
---------------------------------------
Silence deafens in Japan
It had, it has, it will, it can
When you're there and you impel
an English chat, all won't go well
The natives there, they walk around
And empty silence doth resound
They sure don't mind, I've seen it there
If I would speak, they all would stare
So, when you next fly to Japan
Bear in mind a healthy plan
Don't engage with a "What's up?"
Just sit down and just shut up
---------------------------------------
It's a wild guess, but maybe this was what she was trying to convey.
